Jerome "Jerry" Conrad Rosenwald Born to Eternal Life December 4, 2018 at the age of 81 years. Jerry not only leaves behind the love of his life and bride of 54 years Margaret Ann Rosenwald (nee Small) and their five wonderful children, but also a legacy of enduring love and devotion to family and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Conrad and Theresa Rosenwald. As a first generation American, his strong German heritage spurred Jerry to live a life filled with purpose: family, hard work and church. He was born in Milwaukee, graduated from Don Bosco High School and proudly attended Marquette University where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He retired from Oilgear Corporation after 40 years and spent the next 15 years putting his engineering background to work as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity in Milwaukee. Jerry dabbled in model trains, loved to play tennis, coached his kids' sports teams, relished watching his beloved Marquette Warriors turned Golden Eagles, and traveling with his wife, eating great food and enjoying his nightly brandy Manhattan! He most enjoyed the company of his best friend Marge. Together they lived an extraordinary life of love and devotion to one another and God and their family and friends. Jerry was a devoted, loving father to his five children: Thomas Rosenwald (Jean Peliska), James Rosenwald, Cheryl Redenz (Bruce Redenz), Jennifer Hussin (COL. Christopher Hussin, U. S. Army), Amy Olsen (David Olsen); and the celebrated grandfather to seven granddaughters: Meghann Rosenwald (Kevin Klimo), Kaitlyn Rosenwald, Amanda Rosenwald, Rachel Rosenwald, Allison Hussin, Emma Hussin and Katherine Redenz. He is further survived by countless relatives and friends near and far.
