Jo Ann Anita Stemwell passed away peacefully after a long battle with dementia, and other health concerns on September 6, 2021 at the age of 84. Jo Ann is preceded in death by her husband Frank A. Stemwell and her son Mitchell K. Stemwell. Jo Ann is survived by her only grandson whom was the joy of her life Devin J. Stemwell and her Granddaughter-In-Law Samantha J. Stemwell. Jo Ann was born on a farm in Wisconsin and worked the farm at a young age with her siblings. Jo Ann enjoyed books and school while growing up. Jo Ann later married the love of her life Frank after he returned from the war in the 1950's. They soon after had their only son Mitchell in 1961. Jo Ann worked for Allen Bradley her whole life until retirement which she enjoyed helping to raise Devin. Jo Ann enjoyed family functions, traveling, her grandson, and the Packers. Jo Ann's funeral will be Friday September 24, 2021 at Grace Presbyterian Church located at 2931 S Kinnickinnic Ave Milwaukee, WI 53207. Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM. Service 1 PM. Burial will be promptly after the service located at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, 14875 W. Greenfield Ave. New Berlin, WI 53151.
