Of Big Bend, passed away peacefully at home with her family and friends on Aug. 28, 2011, age 73. Preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Pauline De Cleene, and son Steve Helm. Mother of Kim (Kevin) Helm, Tracey (Jeff) Polzin, and Randy (Sue) Helm. Grandmother of Joey, Amity, Pauline, Hattie, Rebekah, Eli, Natalie, Jesse, Stevie Cynthia, David, Nicole, Zak, and 11 great-grandchildren. Sister of Sally Hamm, and James (Yvonne) De Cleene. Aunt of Jeff Wilson. Further survived by may other family and friends. JoAnn worked for the Village of Big Bend for 20+ years. She loved working in her flower garden, chatting with her many, many friends, daily lunches at Busy B's, and the weekly festivities with the ladies at Vernon Presbyterian Church. JoAnn will be sadly missed... she always said, "I'm such a lucky girl!" Visitation will take place on TUES., Sept 6, at the funeral home from 3-6PM, with a memorial service to follow at 6PM.
