Wasiak, Joe Age 76. Born to Eternal Life March 10, 2010. Son of the late Vincent and Stella (nee Stawicki) Wasiak. Devoted husband of Judy (nee Krainer). Father of Sheryl Grossman, Wendy Keehan (Mark) and Tom (friend Kathy). Brother of Sophie Barutha. Brother-in-law of Gordy and Cookie Krainer, and Mary Krainer. Proud "Papa" to grandchildren Dan (Stephanie), Andy (friend Amanda), Emily, Sarah, Katie Jo, Hannah and Stella. Great-grandpa to Leeland. Uncle to Sandy, Jim, Bill, Michael, Marie, Kevin, Chris, John and Dawn. He is further survived by other caring relatives and friends. Joe was a proud alumni of South Division High School, a U.S. veteran of the Army, and a retiree after 42 years as a Lead Machinist at Kearney & Trecker. Joe was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed trips to Potowatomi. He possessed an encyclopedic knowledge of world history. Joe displayed great pride in his Polish heritage. His family and friends will remember him for his exuberant, vibrant spirit and love of life. Joe was often the life of the party. Being proud and strong, he showed many how to live their lives to the fullest as he did until the day he died. The love of his life was his wife, his children, his grandchildren and great-grandchild.Visitation:Visitation at the Funeral Home on Sat., March 13, from 4-6PM. .
