Age 65.  Departed to be with Christ on October 12, 2015.  Loving father of Matthew Brown, Amanda Brown and Rachel Shoemaker.  Dear brother of Cindy Styes and Lester Brown.  Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.  John proudly served our country for eight years in the U.S. Navy, was a member of Christ Reformed Baptist Church and shared his faith and the love of Christ with all whom he met.  Visitation at the funeral home on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 2-4pm.  Funeral service 4pm.  Interment:  Southern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.  Romans 1:16  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
