John C Groff was called home on Monday October 24th surrounded by family and friends.  John is survived by his loving wife Marjorie (Erdman), son John (Rebecca), grandchildren Evan, Drew and Nora, sister Juanita and friend Bonnie.  Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, an uncle, and brother-in-law.  Preceded in death by his parents Clinton and Florence.John retired from UWM as Chief Engineer for WUWM public radio.  After retirement, John worked as "Jack of All Trades" for Tightspot Welding and Family Radio.John loved his family, friends, gardening, boating, scouts, cooking, church, laughter, music, pipe organ and dogs.  John had a great sense of humor and loved a good joke.  He loved his Grandpa days with Evan.A Memorial Service will be on Sunday, November 6th.  Visitation from 1-3 pm. Service at 3:00 pm at Whitnall Park Lutheran Church, 5847 Lilac Lane, Hales Corners.  In lieu of flowers, A memorial is being set up for Pipe Organ refurbishing at Whitnall Park Lutheran Church.
