Obituary

John Hansen, 87, of Chippewa Falls , WI, formerly of Milwaukee, WI went home to be with Jesus on April 23, 2019.
John was born in Toledo, Ohio to John and Natalie Hansen. He had one brother Lee that he loved very much.
His family moved a lot while he was growing up because his dad was in the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) and later the military.
He was a member of the swim team in high school and after high school, served in the United States Coast Guard .
He was united in marriage to Shirley Clark and they had four daughters. They later divorced.
He worked as a salesman for Johns Manville for many years.
He loved his family very much.
He enjoyed swimming, camping, reading, history, music of all kinds, learning new things, cooking and sharing his faith .
His greatest joy in life was his relationship with Jesus Christ. For many years he was active in street ministry and teaching bible studies. He graduated from Christ For The Nations College in Dallas, Texas in 1993.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Lee Hansen.
He is survived by his 4 daughters.
Julie Strasser, Joni (Bill) Mooney, Susie (Terry)Miller and Liz ( Mark) Fischer, 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Harvestime Church, 3625 Southwind Dr, Eau Claire, Wi, 54701 on Sunday, May 19, 2019 beginning at 2pm, followed by dessert and fellowship in the church Cafe until 4 pm.
