Passed away at home on June 30th at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Barbara for 54 years. Cherished father of Lynnette Rietzke, Lisa Rietzke, and Lori (Jeremy) Griesbach. Loving grandfather to Bryant, Sydney, Lindsay, Grant, and Grace. Further survived by his sister Nancy (Ev) Wood and sister-in-law Nancy (Don) Skaja, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Owner of Grassel's Sporting Goods for 35 years and a resident of Greendale for 47 years. He was a stained glass artist and loved nature. Graduate of Don Bosco High School and Marquette University. A visitation will be held on Friday July 7th at St. Alphonsus Parish, 6060 W. Loomis Rd. Greendale 53129 from 9:30 am to 11 am followed by a funeral mass at 11 am.
