John E. Soneberg, of Milwaukee, WI.

Passed away peacefully Jan. 25, 2022. at the age of 88. Survived by loving wife Sadie Soneberg (Nee Gagliardo) of Brooklyn N.Y., married for 68 years, Sons John M., Edward A.(Joni), Robert D., and James S. (Linda). Further survived by 4 grandchildren, 7 Great grandchildren, and other family and friends. Preceded in death by his Parents John and Gladys, daughter in law LeeAnn and son Joseph C..

John was a railroad engineer for the Milwaukee Road, Soo Line and C.P. Railroads, served in the United States Navy and met his wife Sadie in N.Y. while serving, He was an avid fisherman, with annual fishing trips to Canada, hunter, loved traveling, re-building automobiles, and was a member of Big Bend Public Works.

A visitation will be held Sat. Feb. 5, 2022 from 2pm-4pm with a service to follow at 4 pm at the Hartson Funeral Home 11111 W. Janesville Rd., Hales Corners, WI. 53130. 414-425-9797.
