John J. Tallafuss

Age 83. Born into eternal life, peacefully at home on June 25, 2019. Loving husband of Annette (nee Cieslewicz) Tallafuss for 56 years. Beloved father of James "JT" Tallafuss, (Janice Kowalski), Linda (Carl) Hein, Karen (John) Kring, and Monica (Mike) Petz. Proud grandpa of Jake, Parker, Dalton, Spencer, Ben, and Katelyn. Dear brother of Theresia Neklewicz, Marie Stathas, and Reinhold (the late Diane) Tallafuss. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

John received his education in Germany, where he apprenticed in decorative iron work. Then he received a welding certificate in Ohio. He was employed at Logamann Brothers Company as a welding supervisor before he retired in 1994.

John enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, watching the Packers, sheepshead, and especially playing games with the family.

Visitation at St. Mary Catholic Faith Community, 9520 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners on Monday, July 1, 2019 from 9:30 am to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass 11 am. Interment to follow: Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to MDA appreciated.
