Wierman, John R. 'Bob' Born to Eternal Life July 1, 2013, in the loving care of Horizon Hospice after a brief battle with lung cancer. Husband of Marian (nee Saemann) for 67 years. Dear father of Sue (Bob) Austin, Mary Wierman, and John Wierman. Proud papa of Mark and David Austin. Further survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family. Preceded in death by his brother Gerald, and sister Bernice Warner. He served as an English teacher and Vice-Principal for the Wauwatosa School System. He was an active member of the Wauwatosa Rotary Club, a longtime volunteer at the Milwaukee County Zoo, a member of Zoo Pride, and also shared his experiences as a world-wide traveler with many groups over the years. Bob also served as a Captain in the U.S. Army in WWII in Africa and Italy. Thank you to Dr. Lange, Horizon Hospice, and St. Mary's Ozaukee Hospice for their care and attention. Special thanks to family and friends for their support during Bob's illness.
