Joseph "Joe" R. Schneider of Milwaukee, age 85, was born into Eternal Life April 25,2026.

Joe was the loving husband of Janice for 59 years.

He was the beloved father of Jeff, John and Joe, proud grandpa of Zach and Luke, and dear brother of Dawn Marie (Frank) Carey and the late Sharon Carey.  Further survived by nieces, nephews and special friends.

Joseph proudly served our country in the US Air Force Reserves.  He worked at Chicago Northwestern Railroad and Union Pacific from 1967 to 2002.

He was a long time member of Holy Assumption Congregation in West Allis.

There will be a visitation at Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 W. Janesville Road, Hales Corners, Wisconsin on Friday, May 1st, 2026.  The visitation will be from 10:00 AM to Noon with a service to follow at noon.

In Lieu of flowers, Memorials to the American Heart Association are appreciated.
