Joy Charlotte LovelessAge 75 of Greenfield, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday evening, May 10th, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her family.Joy was born on August 20th, 1942 in Red Wing, Minnesota as the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Charlotte Wedde. In July of 1975, Joy was united in marriage to James ("Jim") E. Loveless in Red Wing. She retired in 2000 as an accountant. Some of her hobbies included reading, swimming, walking, knitting and crocheting. Joy also had a few collections, Betty Boop was one, she loved her sassy style. Her true love, however, was a tall thin fellow named Woody from Toy Story. Joy had a whole room set up with this special guy. From the border around the room to the sheets on the bed, and even a lamp to boot.As her family grew and Joy was rewarded with grandchildren, it was visible that she had received the greatest blessing of them all. A constant stream of grandkids from diapers to teens and it was the joy, of her life to spend time with all of them.Joy's love of her life was her husband Jim. Together they enjoyed traveling, enjoying good food and a show or two. From a simple Sunday afternoon drive, or an Alaskan cruise, Florida, Canada, and Sault Ste. Marie to name a few. They traveled all around.Survivors include her beloved husband Jim Loveless of 43 years; her sons Joseph (Candace) Kolosso, Timothy Kolossso, and Rick (Deanna) Kolosso; step-children Bob (Rhea) Loveless, Sheree (Ron) Loveless, Jim "Jamie" (Kim) Loveless, and Rhonda Loveless; 18 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.Joy's family would like to thank the staff of Horizon Home Care and Hospice for the outstanding care she received.Special thanks to Kim for her patience, kind devoted loving care she provided. We cannot express enough gratitude and for that we truly love you.And let's not forget the special care given, the bond and friendship that was between Joy and her daughter-in-law Deanna.A memorial gathering will be held May 25th, 2018 from 5 PM to 8 PM, Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 W. Janesville Road, Hales Corners, WI 53130. A time of sharing special memories of Joy will be at 7 PM.
