Died on March 30th, at the age of 92.

Preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years David Christie and daughter Corinne Lewis. Survived by her son Curtis (Karen) Christie, grandmother of Marcus (Angela) Christie, Nicole (Andrew) Dohm, Matthew (Melissa) Dethardt, Paul Dethardt and eight great-grandchildren who knew her fondly by GG. In her later years Joyce was blessed by her friendship with Gary Loehrer, Joyce was the youngest of eight children. Her parents immigrated from Norway.

She loved to travel, enjoyed listening to piano and classical music, reading, art, cooking, swimming, her garden and doing crossword puzzles. She was especially proud of her Norwegian heritage and her family. Joyce was a pioneer of her time as one of the first women business owners in the Milwaukee area and built her own successful real estate company, Christie Realty, in the 1960s with which she established many lifelong friendships.

A private immediate family gathering will be held to celebrate Joyce's life.
