Judith Sally Condon (Silverman), 73, passed away on Thursday October 11th after a brief Hospital stay. She was a 37-year resident of Hales Corners, with her loving husband of 45 years, Kelly Condon, who preceded her in death this March, devoted son Bradley and faithful dog Willy. She is survived by many marvelous brother and sister's in law, nieces and nephews. Notably her niece Jennifer Miller of Pennsylvania and mother-in-law Mary Condon. Preceded in death by her beloved parents, Lionel and Bernice (Miller) Silverman, her dear brother Steve, and her cherished father-in-law Joseph. Judy was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated from Germantown High School there. She wanted to teach English one day and volunteered teaching illiterate people to read. Judy worked in Doctor's Offices and as an EKG Technician at Hospitals in Philadelphia. She volunteered in the USO for years during Vietnam, where she met a young, handsome sailor, Kelly, recently returned from war and serving on a reserve ship stationed in Philadelphia (the Douglas H. Fox DD779.) They married in 1971 and welcomed their only child Brad in 1973. Judy was a loyal and dedicated wife, mother, and daughter. She and Kelly lived with and cared for her parents when their health was failing. Judy and Kelly shared a love of all animals and had many dogs, birds, and various other pets, including a duck Missy. Judy enjoyed reading, talking on the phone, shopping, collecting things (bells, lighthouses, stuffed animals) and gift giving, she was very generous. Judy is greatly missed by her son, she was an incredible mother not only to Brad, but all God's creatures she adopted. Judy will suffer pain and ailments no longer, she has found Peace. Visitation at Hartson Funeral Home on Saturday, October 21st from 9am to 11am. Funeral Service to follow at 11am.
