Julie Lynn Kiepert, age 57, passed away peacefully in her home in Waterford, Wisconsin, on February 20, 2018 with her husband and three children by her side.Julie was born on March 24, 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to (both late) Cloyd and Janis Schmidt (Fink). She was raised in Glendale, Wisconsin where she attended Nicolet High School. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Julie worked as a graphic designer until her retirement in 2008. Julie was a very talented watercolor painter, a hobby that she had the pleasure to return to during her retirement years.Julie was the beloved wife of 35 years to Kenneth, loving mother to Jennifer (Paul) Brulé, Kevin, and David; adoring grandmother to Alaina, Brayden, Kaden, and Caleb. Julie's loving spirit and kind heart will be forever cherished by her family.A private memorial service will be held in celebration of Julie's life on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Hartson Funeral Home in Hales Corners.In Julie's honor, the family asks that you spend time with loved ones, enjoy fresh air while taking your dogs for a walk, admire the talent at an art festival, feel peace when putting your feet in the sand on a sunny beach, and never give up on the people and things you love.
