Katalin Kovacs passed away May 10, 2025 at the age of 87.

Katalin was born January 12, 1938 in Nemesvita, Hungary to Lajos and Rozalia Pahy. She married Otto Kovacs December 9, 1956 in Austria. Together, they came to the United States in January 1957.

The early years were spent moving a few times, eventually landing in Milwaukee. This is where they settled, had children and got together with many friends.

Katalin was a trained draftsperson, a wonderful seamstress, and an amazing cook, just to name a few of her talents. She and Otto also shared a mutual love of gardening.

Katalin leaves behind her husband, Otto. She also leaves her children; Otto Kovacs Jr., Kathy (Butch) LeDoux, Victor (Alicia) Kovacs, and Maria (Jason) Burback. Katalin will also be missed by her grandchildren; Joel (Louisa) Kovacs, Henry (Molly) Maliszewski, Katie (Nate) Havener, Adam Kovacs, Austin Burback and Maggie Burback.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Ilona, her brother Tibor, and her dear granddaughter Shannon.
