Kathely "Kathy" MerkelWent home to her Lord and Savior October 5, 2016.  Age 91.  Beloved wife of the late Eugene C. Merkel.  Faithful mother of Gary (Cathi), Joanne (Terry) Olson, Marjorie (Chuck) Gouge, Paul, John, Janet, Tom (Sue), Bill, Laurie (Steve) Christensen, and preceded in death by her son, Richard.  Further survived by 24 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.  Visitation at Crossroads Community Church, 4315 S. Moorland Rd, New Berlin, WI, Monday, October 10, from 10 AM to 11 AM.  Funeral service to follow at 11 AM.  Private interment.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Milwaukee Rescue Mission appreciated.
