She was preceded in death by her husband Edward J. Baxa and daughter Lynn Baxa. Loving mother of Mike (Mary), Julie, Laurie (Mike) Shimeta, Cindy (Jeff) Junek. Beloved sister of Bill (Rosie) McLaughlin and Brian (Susan) McLaughlin. Preceded in death by her sisters Pat Massino and Maryann Cassel. Cherished by her many friends.  Kaye was the kindest woman with a heart of pure gold. She was the type of person you would meet in an elevator and feel like you made a new friend when you left. She was always positive, had a wonderful sense of humor, loved helping others, enjoyed music and dance and especially being a loving Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma. She was the epitome of the Energizer Bunny and due to this positive attitude lived a full life many years longer than anyone expected.  Kaye was Secretary of Christian Mothers, an Interfaith volunteer, a Catholic Eucharistic Minister at St Mary's in Hales Corners and at Forest Ridge Chapel, and involved in a Charismatic Group. She was an expert seamstress, even creating her own gorgeous wedding gown; an accomplished pianist having taught piano and played on the radio; line and square dancer; and a ballerina having danced at the Pabst Theatre. She attended clown school and loved to lighten up all our lives with her fun-loving stories.Thank you to Forest Ridge for your loving care and to the many cherished friends she had there for 17 years. Thanks to Layton Terrace and Vitas Hospice staff for your dedicated care.Visitation Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 9:00 to 10:15AM, St. Mary Catholic Faith Community, 9520 W.
