Kathleen M. Regenfelder (Nee Boden) On July 20, 2015 shed her earthly body that had too long restrained the manifestation of her creative spirit, and joined her late husband Carl M. Regenfelder at the banquet table of the Lord. Kathy is the beloved mother of Eric (Brenda) Regenfelder, Maggie (Dan) Paruzynski, Anne (Steve) Latreille, Pete (Pam Franke) Regenfelder, and Ruth (Paul) Meyer. She is the cherished Oma to Sam and Alex Regenfelder, Hannah, Frank, Matt and Sophie Paruzynski, Nicole and Gabby Latreille , Jacob and Claire Regenfelder and Rachel, Emily, Molly, and Zachary Meyer. Kathleen is loving sister to Nancy (Jim) Larson and sister-in-law to Barbara (Fred) Ludwig as well as special cousin of Sue Olenchek. She is remembered with love and joy by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and relatives. Kathy was a 1958 graduate of Columbia hospital school of nursing and a 1984 graduate of Mount Mary College. She was an active parishioner of St. Mary Catholic faith community of Hales Corners and participated in many capacities there, especially during her children's school years. She was also a member of the greater Milwaukee Dental Auxiliary and worked many years for the Hales Corner library. Kathleen enjoyed traveling with her husband, family and friends particularly when they golfed, cross country or down hill skied, and hiked. However, Kathleen's claim to fame was a heart for hospitality and clever hands for sewing and cooking. Kathleen was the keeper of holidays and traditions: strudel making in the fall, stollen at Christmas, poteca at Easter. Although Kathy will be missed by many, the value of love and family tradition lives on in each of us whose lives she's touched and we will think of her daily. Kathy's family would like to express special appreciation to the many caring staff and residents of Kathy's Clement Manor community and for the loving medical care provided by Dr. Monica O'Sullivan. Visitation at St. Mary Catholic Faith Community, 9520 W. Forest Home Ave. Hales Corners Saturday Aug. 1st from 9:30-10:45 AM. Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CurePSP.
