Obituary

Kenneth Edward Doss, 98 of Dousman, WI
February 3, 1928 to July 15, 2026

Survived by his sons Daniel (Patricia) Doss and Randall (Agnes) Doss. Lois Koel, Jan Koel, Michael (Jayne) Koel, Karen (Frederick) Russell and Anita Koel. Grandchildren Angela, Emily, Amanda, Erica, Shena, Jenna, Elisa, Nathan, Jordan, Danielle, Maxwell, Alex and Ian; along with fifteen great and two great-great-grandchildren.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, siblings and his wife Lavonne, whom he cherished and was the love of his life.

Ken wore many hats in his lifetime. He served in the Army during the Korean War as a marksman in the infantry. After returning home he went to work as a mason and built his own home along with his brother Wally.

Ken later became a manager at Engines Store and sold car parts to different service stations that led him to eventually opening his own used car lot – Discount Auto Mart in Milwaukee.

Through the years Ken loved to take part in the many deer hunt expeditions with his brothers and close friends and enjoyed family visits as well.

Antiquing was another passion he had. If you knew Ken, there was always a joke or two or three…

At Three Pillars, where he lived in his later years, he looked forward to the Coffee Clutch hour where he could visit and unload those jokes, he had a lifetime of them. Thank you to Three Pillars for the Nurses, Kitchen Staff and Reggie the counselor.

Lavone and Ken were snowbirds who spent time in Florida during the winter.

There will be a service and visitation on August 5, 2026 at Hartson Funeral Home-
11111 W. Janesville Road in Hales Corners, Wisconsin.

The Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6:30 PM with the service to follow at 6:30 PM
