Kenneth E. "Butch" Kania Jr., age 64, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2023 with his family by his side.

Butch was born on April 22, 1959, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Joyce and Kenneth Kania Sr. He was the oldest of four children. Butch is survived by this mother Joyce, his brothers Tom (Vicky) and Ron (Karen) and sister Cindy (Russell) Wikoff. Butch is also survived by his nephew Scott.

Butch owned a feed mill at an early age and prior to that worked on the family farm. Butch has made countless and wonderful friendships over the years. Fishing trips, hunting trips, golf outings, and card playing are only a few of the hobbies that have created cherished memories that will help all that loved him gain peace and strength during this difficult time. Butch also enjoyed working puzzles and making coffee every day for his great friends at Caledonia Feed and Supply.

Butch will be up in his tree stand listening to Outlaw Country or watching the Atlanta Braves games until we all meet again.

If attending the service, please dress casually and feel free to wear baseball or Atlanta Braves attire.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in Butch's name.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Hartson Funeral Home at 2:00 pm. Family and friends may gather for a visitation from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
