Kenneth J. Karppi, age 83, went to Heaven, Dec. 9, 2014.  Loving husband of Arleen for 55 years; cherished father of James Karppi and Karen (Rick) Furmack; beloved PaPa of Amanda and Katie; brother-in-law of Janice (Mark) Cis; further survived by other relatives and friends.  Ken was a proud mechanical engineering graduate of Michigan Tech and has been retired from AC Spark Plug for 27 years.  Ken was also a US Army Veteran.  Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 12, 2014 from 1 to 2 PM at the funeral home.  Service to follow at 2 PM.
