Kling, D.C., Kenneth O. Born into eternal life on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at age 85, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Pauline, a short 16 months previous. Beloved brother to Shirley Cutting and Randall Kling, and late siblings Leonard, Virginia, Ronald, and Calvin. Devoted father of Jeffrey, Paul (Andja), Melissa (Michael) Wojtecki, Michael (Jessi Grycowski). Proud grandfather of Jessica and Jacob Wojtecki, and Tyler and Makayla Kling. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. One of seven children, he vigorously pursued his own education. His love for Chiropractic became a mainstay early on as a young adult. He held over a dozen jobs to ensure his goal of becoming a doctor of Chiropractic. He devoted his life to helping others, graduating from Palmer Chiropractic College and opened his own Southside office. Serving people from all walks of life for over 50 years, he never refused his services to anyone. His strong work ethic would follow him throughout his lifetime. In addition to his practice, he was employed with Milwaukee County, working at the Mental Health Complex for three decades. Ken had an incredible range of interests and hobbies, and was game to try anything. Towards the end of his Chiropractic career, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. He closed his office at the age of 74, after a wonderful, fulfilling, lifelong career. He was well known in the community, and his old-school nature made his patients love and adore him. Ken's mentation slowly declined over the next ten years, but was able to maintain good physical condition. His concern and love for his wife and family did not change, and he was able to keep his unique sense of humor. After his wife's passing, his physical needs began to overshadow daily life. His family made sure he was well cared for and never left alone. Ken suffered his first mild stroke at age 85 and eventually recovered rather quickly, only to break a hip a few months later. He recently enjoyed his last great adventure, a trip to Nashville, to see his remaining brother, Randall. Having little memory of the trip, his family will long enjoy the memories of that final worldy journey. Ken's last stroke occurred two days after returning home. Hospitalized, he passed away suddenly. He lived his life believing in the notion that: "when your spine's in line, you'll feel fine". He will be greatly missed. Visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 4 PM to 7 PM. Funeral service 7 PM. Entombment: Forest Hill Cemetery. Meeting at the funeral home on Thurs. morning 9:30 AM for procession, all are welcome.
