Survived by loving wife, Emmy Lou, dear children; John, James (Marcy), and Melissa Sue Merner, two grandchildren; Scott and Casey, a brother-in-law, Clyde Moratz, a niece, three nephews, extended family and many friends. Preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Beverly. WWII Navy Veteran. Graduate of University of Wisconsin. 35+ year employee of Kearney and Trecker and employee of Vapor Blast.
