MENOMONEE FALLS - Age 74. It is with a heavy heart to inform you of the passing of our friend and neighbor Kim Froelich.
Kim was diagnosed with throat cancer last October and was hospitalized on November 3, 2024, due to a severe infection. He later was transferred to Elizabeth's Residence in New Berlin, WI. He remained there until he passed peacefully on March 12, 2025.
Kim was an U.S. Army veteran in the Vietnamese War. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross Medal, which was given to those who distinguished themselves by single acts of heroism or extraordinary achievement while participating in an aerial fight. Kim was born and raised in Antigo, WI, where he worked on the family farm and developed a very strong work ethic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.
Kim will be missed.
