Obituary

Kim Schmeling (nee Hollister)

Kim passed away Monday June 17th peacefully at home. She was the loving wife of Kent Schmeling, Mother to Max and Dempsey. She was the cherished daughter of Rick and Sheryl Manhoff, and Bob and Barb Hollister. Beloved sister to Michelle (Brian) Kwapick. Devoted Auntie Kimmie to Kelsey (TJ) Mauck, Mitchell and Wesley Kwapick, and Great Auntie to little Theo Joseph.

Kim was a Golden Girl. She loved spending time on her patio having a cocktail and enjoying music with Kent and friends. She loved to cook, read, plant and tend to her flowers, traveling with the family and a good cribbage game. But most of all she loved her son. He was the light of her life and brought her great joy.

Kim was a graduate of Greenfield High School. She spent most of her working career with Harley Davidson and then various other companies, most recently with Poblocki Paving who were more than wonderful to her as she fought her battle with cancer. The family appreciates their kindness very much.

As we say goodbye to our Kimmie we do so knowing she is no longer in pain and is whole again. She battled her cancer with everything she had in her but she could fight no longer. We love her and will miss her each and every day. Her memory lives on.

Visitation will be June 24, 2-4 with services at 4.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be much appreciated.
