Lawrence M. "Larry" Milewski Age 74.  Found peace on Oct. 18, 2015 surrounded by family. Loving husband of Patricia. Dear father of Michael and Angela. Beloved brother of Robert (Judy). Special friend to Brad (Diane) Brisk and Donna (Chuck) Last. Further survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and caring friends. Preceded in death by first wife of 30 years Jean (nee Dombrowski) and brother Edward. Graduate of UWM (Economics), Vietnam Veteran (Army) and retiree of HUD (U.S. Gov.) with 40 years of service. Visitation Friday, Oct. 23, 5-7 PM with service at 7PM at Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 W. Janesville Rd, Hales Corners. Private Interment. If desired, memorials may be made to St. Ben's, St. Vincent DePaul, or Habitat for Humanity. A special "Thank You" to Interventional Radiology and Palliative Care staffs at Froedtert Hospital and for the very compassionate care and guidance of Heartland Hospice. My father fought an epic battle.  He was diagnosed with cancer in 2007 and he beat it.  Twice.  My dad was a cancer survivor.  However, he began to suffer from other ailments,  Some as a result from the treatment taking toll on his body, but never on his spirit.  His body began to slowly fail him, but he never lost his desire to live.  Eventually it became apparent that he had been living on borrowed time.  On Sunday night my father couldn't borrow any more time and he peacefully passed away into eternal rest.  He was comforted in his final moments by those who love him.  He will be missed by many.  May the Lord welcome him and care for him. - Mike Milewski
