Obituary

Lavern C. Bielicki - Age 94.

Passed peacefully into the Presence of the Lord August 22, 2026. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, August (Bill) H. Bielicki Jr.

Born on February 2nd, 1932, Lavern was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved babysitting the grandchildren, walking them to school with her favorite dog "Ricky". She loved gardening and had a way of bringing plants "back to life".

In later years she enjoyed Matlock reruns and playing "Polish Poker" with her family. Never one to feel sorry for herself nor to complain, her inner strength, kindness and acceptance of others brought real joy to the hearts of everyone around her. A gentle soul that looked forward, ever forward, providing an example of a simple life well lived.

She is lovingly survived by her children: daughter Sandra (Ron) Abendroth, grandsons Kevin (Laura) Fix, Christopher (Carrie) Fix, Scott (Bobbie) Abendroth and Kevin Abendroth; daughter Deborah (John) Strelecki, granddaughter Erica (Daniel) Hall, grandson Joshua (Michele) Strelecki; daughter Dorothy Bielicki and son-in-law Akbar Tavaghoee, grandson Eric (Sarah) Tavaghoee; son William (Suzanne) Bielicki, granddaughters Breanne (Dan) Hrobar and Deanne (Josh) Ratliff. Further survived by her beloved great-grandchildren: Emily, Alexander, Annabelle, Adelyn, Samantha, Annalise, lzabella, lzaiah, Abigail, Josiah, Eliza Rae and Arthur.

Survived by many other family and friends.

A gathering will be held from l0am-Noon with a brief memorial service at 11am on Thursday, September 3rd at Hartson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Lavern may contribute toward the family's funeral and memorial costs through her son William.
