Lavonne Rau passed peacefully January 9, 2025 at the age of 96.

Born May 6,1928, Rochester, MN.

Survived by children George, Shelley (Phil), Victoria (Melissa), Lise (Jim) and Wendy (Tom). Sister Barbara, Brother David and many friends, grandchildren and great-grand children.

Predeceased by husband George, siblings Wesley, John, Delores, Norman, Elaine, and grandson Stephen.

LaVonne enjoyed a long fully lived life. After her career in management at Gimbels and Marshall Fields department stores, a wonderful retirement included volunteering at the Milwaukee Art Museum, Milwaukee Symphony and Villa Terrace.

She belonged to many other organizations and garden clubs. She loved to garden, play golf, read and traveled the world with the Friendship Force of Milwaukee.

Per her wishes, there will be no services.
