Leonard "Bud" P. Flemming
Passed away on April 10, 2019. He was 89 years old, a husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved telling jokes, was easy-going and loved to laugh. He smoked cigars, drove a Cadillac, and played the piano by ear. He loved his beer warm with a shot of brandy. His favorite music was Fats Waller and honky-tonk, and his favorite past-times were fishing and hunting. He loved sardines on saltines and Dinty Moore Beef Stew, solitaire, cribbage and cards. He worked until he was 88, loved being Lebanese, and was proud to have been in the Coast Guard.
He was an extraordinary man to those he loved and to those that loved him back. He will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Arden in 2010. He leaves behind his wife Betty (nee McMullen) of 3 years; his children, Tracey (Larry) Schutz, Beth (John) Schroeder, and Mark (Lori) Flemming; grandchildren, Anne (Joe) Williams, Ellie Schroeder, Jack Flemming, Jed Flemming, Augie Schutz, and Meg Flemming; great-grandchildren, Sullivan Williams and Beckett Williams; sister Donna (Walter) Johnson; and many relatives and friends.
