Leonard R. Jozefacki of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, age 69, was welcomed into heaven by his Heavenly Father and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Father’s Day, June 21, 2026. He was reunited with his beloved daughter Elisa after 35 years apart. Leonard was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and was the fourth born child of Harry and Loretta Jozefacki.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Jeanine, and by his children Aime (Jeremy) Root and Andrew (Michelle) Jozefacki.
Leonard is also survived by his siblings: Marge Atwater, Michael Jozefacki, Ken Jozefacki, and Howard Jozefacki. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Jozefacki, his brother, Joe Jozefacki, and his daughter Elisa Jozefacki.
Leonard loved his family deeply and will be remembered for his passion to care for, love and support them. His greatest joy was spending time with them whether it was mini golfing, day trips, special vacations to Disney World or playing board games around the dining room table. Leonard made so many lasting memories with everyone in his life. When not spending time with his family Leonard enjoyed woodworking, bike riding, model trains and building Lego.
Leonard hoped to inspire others through his love of the Lord and sharing his faith with anyone who would listen. He had a servants’ heart and ministered to others at Faith Bible Church, Redeemer Evangelical Free Church and Southbrook Church through being a head usher, working with children in Awanas and helping with special church facility projects. Leonard was always willing to generously help anyone who needed it.
Leonard and his family wish to thank Pastor Jonathan and the staff at Southbrook Church for their support, lifelong friends Frank and Linda, Tom and Georgia and Randy Wolfmeyer, as well as everyone who helped care for him during his illness.
A visitation will be held at Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 W. Janesville Road, Hales Corners, WI 53130 on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 1 to 3 pm. A Celebration of Life Service to follow at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
