Lester Joseph Jakubiak of Waukesha, age 78, died on May 8, 2017, after a determined battle with cancer. Preceded in death by two weeks by his wife Mary Patricia (O'Brien) of 53 years; parents Joseph and Anne (Hribar); and siblings Richard, Irene Orgaine and Virginia Nicora.  Survived by sons Michael (Hilary Becker) of Chicago and Joseph (Sarah) of Milwaukee; brothers Robert and Joe; and grandchildren Peter and Mary. He was a retiree of Miller Brewing Co, a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and served his country in the US Air Force.  He will be remembered for how hard he worked for his family, his generosity and his pragmatism.  The State Fair won't be the same.
