Lester Lyle Sell Jr. of South Milwaukee went home to Jesus September 29th, 2021 at the age of 66 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Beloved husband of Sherry (nee Kadlec) of 46 years. Loving dad of Amy (Josh) Ermi and Allan (Kristen) Sell.
Proud grandpa of Matthew Sell and Zachary Sell.

Preceded in death by his parents Lester and Violet (nee Jones), niece Dawn Joas and brother in law Gary Kryscio.

Dear brother to Karen (Jerry) Joas, Kathy (John) Koplinski and Jenny Kryscio.

Many relatives and friends including his rescue dog Jax brought him smiles and laughs daily. Lester enjoyed riding his Harley and went on many road trips with his friends.

One of his favorite places to be was up North, restoring the 1888 Victorian house with lots of help from his good friend Jon. It didn't matter if he was building the shed, cutting wood, working on and painting his old Allis Chalmers tractor or riding the lawn mowers...he loved it!

He worked at Crane Manufacturing in Cudahy, Wisconsin for 29 years. He started in welding and moved up to Plant Superintendent. His last job before retiring in October 2018 was at the Indian Community School in Franklin, where he enjoyed the interactions with staff and the children.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to the Oncology teams at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center and Froedtert, and the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Funeral Visitation on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 12:00-2:00 pm with Memorial Service to follow at Hartson Funeral Home.

There will be a private burial at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
