Linda Laczkowski (Coppage) passed away May 5, 2024, after a 16-year battle with cancer. She will be forever missed by her husband of over 50 years, John Laczkowski, and three children: John Andrew (Renee) Laczkowski of Menomonee Falls, WI, Laurie (Jeremy) Vanden Branden of Brookfield, WI, and Leigh Ann Laczkowski (Jason Pscheidt) of Wauwatosa, WI.
She is further survived by her sister, Donna (Elvis) Brown of Maryville, TN, and brother, Hal (Ann) Coppage of Noblesville, IN, as well as many more family, friends and furbabies.
Born on September 4, 1951, in Whiting, IN, Linda moved to Chicago in 1969 to study nursing. While there she met the love of her life, John. They were married in 1973 and moved to the Milwaukee area. Linda touched many lives as a nurse throughout her career, and most recently worked for Ophthalmology Associates, S.C., for 25 years.
Linda most enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends. She had a passion for gardening and spent countless hours with John working on the yard and attending to a multitude of shrubs, plants, and bushes that adorned the perimeter. She loved travelling with John and her children. She enjoyed discovering breweries and collecting tin tackers, which she and John displayed on their deck. She had a love for visiting Disney World and never met a gift shop she didn't appreciate.
Linda was kind, courageous, caring, generous, and very, very funny. She was and will always be loved by all who knew her.
