Linda Lee Petrie, 68, of Waterford, WI, passed away on August 29th, 2023. Linda was born on December 1st, 1954, in Milwaukee WI to the late Howard and June (nee Doris) Smith.

Linda was a loving and family-oriented person who always had a smile on her face. She adored her grandchildren and cherished spending time with them. Linda was also known for her strong work ethic and dedication, having worked at Briggs and Stratton for 33 years.

In her free time, Linda enjoyed camping with her family, creating lasting memories in the great outdoors. She found solace and community at Hales Corners Lutheran Church where she worshipped.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, William (Bill) Petrie, her daughters, Wendy (Zach) Hanover and Cheryl (Bert) Boehm, her sisters Donna (Ed) Galambos and Brenda Orlowski, her granddaughters, Autumn Petrie, Hanna Helker, Margot Helker and Alyssa Boehm, as well as many nieces nephews, family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Howard Smith, her mother, June Smith, her brother Dennis (Joan) Smith and nephew Bobby Johnson.

Visitation will be held at Hales Corners Lutheran Church (12300 W. Janesville Rd. 53130) on Wednesday, September 6th, 2023, from 10:00 am-11:45 am. A service will follow at 12:00 pm and a Christian burial will take place at Arlington Cemetery (27th and Howard) at 1:30 pm.

Linda will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her memory be a blessing to us all.
