Lloyd Skagen passed away peacefully on November 6, 2015 at the age of 94. He was preceded in death by Dolores, his beloved wife of 60 years. Lloyd is deeply missed by his family and friends. He was the loving father of Mary (Phil) Roock, Sandra LaMell, Karen (Guy) Barger, James Skagen, Beth Crisp, and Michele Skagen; dear grandpa of Nickole Barger, Ryan (Ashley) Crisp, and Jeremy LaMell; and great-grandpa of Liam and Erin Crisp. He is survived by his sister, Betty Clemence. He attended Bay View High School and graduated from Marquette University. Lloyd proudly served our country as a pilot in the US Army Air Corps during World War II. Friends and family are invited to celebrate his memory at a visitation to be held in the chapel at Forest Home Cemetery, 2405 West Forest Home Ave., Milwaukee on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 10am to 11am. The funeral service with Military Funeral Honors will follow at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wisconsin Veterans Home "Gathering of Friends-Deli" (Wisconsin Veterans Home, 21425 Spring Street "Mauer Hall", Union Grove WI 53182, Attn: Teri Presser) would be greatly appreciated.
