Lois M. Opine went to be with the Lord on January 11th at the age of 79. Beloved mother of Lora (Doug) Siehr, David (Tonya), Lisa Sleik, Diane (Paul) Rhode, and Daniel (Bernadette). Cherished grandmother of Alex, Rachel, Eric, Erika (Max), Kyle (Bethany), Kevin, and Tayler. Preceded in death by her husband, Noel. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Lois was a leader in the Girl Scouts and coached girls softball in New Berlin. She was an avid bowler in women's singles and mixed doubles with her husband. She was a member of Ebenezer Evangelical Free Church for over 50 years. Lois was a board member, deaconess, choir member, Sunday school teacher, nursery worker, Vacation Bible School teacher and Awana Leader. She worked for Lein Spiegelhoff in market research for over 25 years. She was married for over 32 years to Noel until his death in 1991. She enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping, crossword puzzles and reading. She loved watching Brewer and Packer games on T.V. She was a great friend to many and 'Glamma' to her grandchildren. Lois was a prayer warrior and used her God given gifts of encouragement and serving others.A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18th at Redeemer Evangelical Free Church, 7735 W Howard Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53220, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 6:30 p.m. Private burial at Good Hope Cemetery.
