NEW BERLIN - Age 93.  Went peacefully at home surrounded by family on May 19, 2015 to join her beloved husband and best friend of 63 years the late Arthur.   Devoted mother of Linda (Dan) Rawling, Larry (Jill), and the late Randy.  Loving grandma of Kelly, Kyle (Nicki), Keri, and Tanya (Jason) McMillan.  Great grandma of Taelyn, Tanner, Taytum, Teagan, Midori, Taylin, Terra, and Maryn.  Further survived by nieces, nephew, and brother in law Jerry (Jeanne).  Mom and Dad were early 1950 residents of New Berlin.  They built their own house, by hand.   Lorrie was a highly skilled medical transcriber who came out of retirement twice, by her last employer's (West Allis Memorial Hospital) request, while raising a family and helping with Arthur's business.   She was in such demand that she set her own terms, which were to work at home with all the equipment being supplied by the Hospital.  Her main skill, though, was being a sweet, loving, supportive, determined, and dedicated mother.  Mom was used to taking care of the family and herself without assistance from others.   Even near the end of life she would not allow anyone to lift her to stand, she insisted on doing it herself.   And she did.  She loved being outside in the sunshine.  Mom, now you can always be outside with the sun and flowers.  Mom, we love you dearly and will miss you always.
