Lucille S. Perkins, age 100, passed away with her son John by her side on January 8th, 2026. She was born on September 10, 1925.
In her younger years, she was the owner of a ceramics store, volunteered at Maplewood Nursing Home, and assisted Milwaukee County Foster and Adoption Agency in the 1950’s and 60’s, where she took in children in need of safe homes. In her time with the agency, she took in 32 children. She was known for her young spirit.
She is survived by her son John, one grand-daughter, three grand-sons, one great-grand-daughter, and three great-grandsons. Preceded in death by her husband Elmer in 2005, her daughter Patricia in 2009, and daughter Dorothy in 2025.
