Lupe Ludwig Wasilewicz, age 80, of Waukesha, Wisconsin, formerly of Hammond, Indiana, was called home to the Lord peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2026, in the presence of her loved ones.

She is survived by her daughters, Irene (Richard) Montalvo, Julie Ludwig (Jose) Olaguez, and Dr. Tatiana Kensington; her grandchildren, Amanda Montalvo, Gina Montalvo, and Julian Olaguez; and her great-granddaughter, Sophia Montalvo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wasilewicz; her mother, Irene Pimentel; her sisters, Yolanda Osornio Cordero and Celia Tinoco; and her brothers, Alejandro and Angel Osornio, along with other cherished family members, including Cecilia Osornio Lopez and Rafael Osornio.

Lupe also leaves behind her brothers, Henry (Blanca) Pimentel, John (Maryann) Pimentel, and Mario (Elizabeth) Pimentel; her sisters, Gloria (Bill) Mojica, Maria (Jack) Gannon, Irene (Jeff) Francis, Maria L. (John) Quiroz, Carmen (Martin) Coronel, and Cecilia Osornio; as well as many loving nephews, nieces, and dear friends.

Lupe was a retiree of Inland Steel in East Chicago, Indiana. She cherished spending time with her daughters and extended family, especially during visits from Indiana and Georgia. She also found great joy in attending church and praising the Lord on Sundays alongside her daughter Julie and family. Lupe will be forever cherished in our hearts.
