Lyle "Bud" Rodman passed away on September 5, 2016 at East Troy Manor, with his son Robert and daughter Caryn by his side. He was 77. Bud was born on January 25, 1939 to his parents, Robert and Henrietta Rodman. He attended school in Three Lakes, WI. Bud was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he proudly served his country stationed in Germany in the early 60's. He married Virginia Krueger in 1964. While the Rodmans became longtime residents of East Troy, WI, Bud worked as a truck driver. After he retired, he always made time to help a friend or neighbor in need, and dedicated his remaining time to those friends and his family, but most of all to his beloved granddaughter Olivia "Olie" Rose. Bud is survived by his loving wife, sons Robert and Michael (Jen) Rodman; daughter Caryn (Alex) Rodman; and the girl who captured his heart, granddaughter Olivia Rodman. He is also survived by his sister Darlene (Mike) Piasecki of Rhinelander; cousin, best friend, and right hand man Jay (Teresa) Rodman; and many loving nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Audrey Adamovich and Birdine Lawonn. Family would like to thank family friend Laura Rudolph, for being there every step of the way; the incredible staff at East Troy Manor, for their excellent work and loving care; Nurse Laura from Allay Hospice, for her attentive treatment and beautiful heart; and the Hartson Funeral Home of Hales Corners for making the arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be held upstairs at Sammy's Place in East Troy on September 24, 2016 from 1-5PM; all are welcome.
