Lynda M. Cera (nee Gename) Found peace and entered into Eternal Life surrounded by her loving family on May 19, 2017. She was born on November 8, 1944 to Everett and Mena (Hadley) Gename. She grew up in Milwaukee and graduated Bay View High School. Afterward, she attended MATC and became a licensed cosmetologist. On May 29, 1965 she married the love of her life, Robert. Together they built a home in Greendale, Wisconsin where they raised three children whom she never failed to love and support. She gracefully served as a living witness to faith despite her painful terminal illness. Lynda is survived by her husband Robert, children Laura (Don) Schmitt, Jane (Carl) Wallace, and Eric (Jennifer Baron), grandchildren Francheska and Abigail Wallace, and Kyle, Ian, and Olivia Cera. She is further survived by nieces and nephews whom she adored, other relatives, and friends. Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Nancy Kothrade and Marlene Kohn, brother-in-law Albert Kohn, and brother Timothy Gename.A celebration of her life was held at Hartson Funeral Home and her earthly remains interred alongside five generations of her family in Ellison Bay Cemetery, Door County, Wisconsin. Memorials to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation appreciated.
