Lynn George Schoenfeld, age 77, of Waukesha passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on October 7, after a long medical battle. A lifelong avid bicyclist, he will be remembered for his love of long distance trail riding and being outdoors. His greatest love was his family and friends, which included his wife 'Kate' of 52 years. Lynn had a long career with Prudential, helping families with integrity and compassion after they had suffered loss of their home. After retirement, he had more time for biking even working part-time at a dream job in a bike shop. His family will miss his generous compassionate giving nature as he was always willing to help any family, friend or stranger in need. A Vietnam Veteran, he served with honor. Lynn will also be missed at his favorite local hangout, Gilles, where he could be found enjoying a jimmie sundae in his truck. His life was well lived, he was well loved and will be forever missed. He is survived by his wife Kathleen (Kane) Schoenfeld; daughter Nicole (Patrick) Hayes; brother, Lee (Lynn) Schoenfeld; granddaughters, Elianna and Catalina.
