Obituary

Germantown - (Nee Sinclair) Entered joyful, eternal life on January 28, 2021 at the age of 80, reuniting with her beloved husband, Paul. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, Edmund and Ruth Sinclair (Amundson) and her brother Edmund "Ed" (Linde) Sinclair. Lynne was married to Paul on April 22, 1960. She is survived by her children David Berendsen, Eric (Holly) Berendsen, William (Donna) Berendsen, and Anne Conyers, her sisters, Jean (Richard) Wochos and Suzanne Sinclair, grandchildren Jamie Berendsen, Samuel Berendsen, Kaleb (Maisie) Freeman, Joshua (Jacqueline) Freeman, Kate (Michael) Ciniglia, Megan Udesky, Michaela Udesky, great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly.

After many years as a lab technician and then an administrative assistant to an author, Lynne went back to school earning her doctorate degree in Psychology. She became a practicing psychologist and also taught at Mount Mary College until her retirement in 2011 to take care of her husband.

She was a deeply devoted follower of St. Therese of Lisieux - the Little Flower - who practiced her faith in "the little way," which led Lynne and Paul to both become devout and devoted members of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites. As an active and faithful member, Lynne volunteered most of her time at Holy Hill on significant projects for the community. Lynne was adventurous and enjoyed traveling with her husband to many European countries as well as all over the United States with her family.
