Valdes, Manuel J. 'Manolo' Born in Havana, Cuba on September 15, 1924, passed away peacefully at his home on September 25, 2012 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Marina for 58 years. Survived by his favorite children; Manuel (Theresa) Valdes, Maria (John) Rosploch, and Isa Valdes. Proud 'Papi' of Joshua, Erica, Samantha, and Jared. Additional thanks to caregiver and family member, Paula Christensen. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Manolo left his beloved Cuba in 1960 to escape oppression.
