Mardella (Mardy) Ruth Ann Scheunemann (nee Viesselmann) passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 22, 2025, at the age of 80. Mardy was born on May 13, 1945, to Robert and Ruth (nee Nierode) Viesselmann; growing up in Grafton, then moving to Muskego where she would spend 46 years of her life. She worked at the Muskego Hardee’s for many years as the Hostess with the Mostess.

Mardy was a devoted mother and grandmother, becoming the granny nanny to her grandsons and the biggest fan at all of their events. She enjoyed watching the Brewers, Packers, and Badger games and spending time at the family cottage in Crivitz, WI.

Mardy is survived by her devoted husband of over 50 years, Eugene (Gene) Scheunemann; her daughter Jennifer (Steve) Woznicki; and her grandsons Caleb and Owen Woznicki. She is further survived by her brother Marvin (Linda) Viesselmann; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ruth, and her sister Vernita (the late Mike) Hoffmann.
