Marian B. Rauch of Wauwatosa WI.  Born to eternal life Tuesday January 19, 2016, age 88.  Preceded in death by her parents, John and Rose Rauch (nee Gundrum), and her sisters Lucille Guiney and Helen Rauch.  Cherished aunt of Susan (Mark) Dries.  Loving great-aunt of Rebecca (Andrew) Zrinsky, Stephanie (Tom) Vierling, and Nikolaus Dries.  Further survived by other relatives and friends.  A very special thank you to the caring staff of Zilber Family Hospice.  Marian was born and grew up in Milwaukee.  She worked her way through night school to earn a bachelors degree in Chemistry and was a chemist for many years.  Later she earned her masters degree in Library Science, managed a corporate library, taught courses at UWM and was involved in several professional organizations.  She was also a member of St. Jude the Apostle parish for over 60 years, and volunteered at St. Jude's thrift shop and rectory for over 20 years.  Marian helped her family in many, many ways after her father died young, she lovingly cared for her mother during her illness, and was very involved in the lives and upbringing of both her niece and great-niece, and was very close to her family.  Visitation will be at ST JUDE THE APOSTLE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 734 Glenview Ave, Wauwatosa on Monday January 25th from 11:30 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 1 PM, with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marian's name to the American Cancer Society or NPR (National Public Radio) are appreciated.
