Marie Kujawa (Nee Brandstetter)Age 82. Called home to heaven June 7th, 2017. Preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Kujawa. Cherished mother of Joseph (the late Debra Usinger), Christopher (Lisa), Nancy Bartels, Steven, Theresa (Bob) Monte, Deborah (Rick) Schweigert, Michael (Jamie), and Patricia Kujawa (Lenny Shilts). Proud grandmother of Bryan, Jacob, Sarah, Ilija (Chasidy), Joseph (Heather), Jonathan, Caitlin, Angela, Brad, Melissa, Andrew, Zanah, Chase, Nicole, Josiah, Cadence, and Aubreana. Dear sister of the late Joseph (Marie) Brandstetter and the late Gene Brandstetter.Loving mother of 8 children and 17 grandchildren. Marie had a heart of gold and cherished her children and grandchildren. She was busy spending time with at least one of her children on a daily basis. She enjoyed bingo, time at the lake, and what her children refer to as "bumming" – especially with Steve. Steve and Mom were like "two peas in a pod". A fond memory of Mom at 80 years old was watching her swim in the middle of the lake. Not too many 80 year olds can do that! Whenever a birthday came around (and that happened a lot) you could always count on her sending that perfect card. She never missed a single one. She also enjoyed her many friends and cherished them dearly. She was very fond of all her nieces and nephews, especially Gloria, who was so very dear to her heart.She will be extremely missed and loved forever. She was the "best" mother of 8 kids could ever have.The Kujawa family would like to thank everyone for celebrating and being a part of Marie's exceptional life. She will always be remembered for how she touched everyone deeply. Visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 3100 W. Parnell Ave., Milwaukee on Friday, June 9th from 9:30 AM until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
