Marion A. Kuglitsch
October 29, 1926 – January 4, 2022
Homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Marion A. Kuglitsch passed away peacefully at home next to her husband Dr. Ervin Kuglitsch on January 4th, 2022 at the age of 95 after a long life filled with love and joy. Marion and Ervin spent a wonderful 71 years of marriage together.
She will forever be remembered for her love and sacrifice to support her husband through medical school, two residencies, and a private practice – all in addition to making a wonderful home life for their children Michael, Joan, Susan, and Mary. She was a very charitable figure in the community, often spending hours to find housing, clothing, and food for those in need that came through Ervin's medical practice. Marion was also pivotal in bringing to life the large celebration of the 50th anniversary of Greendale. She was the most gracious party hostess and known for her vibrant personality at any dinner party or event. You could always expect any holiday gathering to be beautifully decorated and bellies full of good food. Her love of flowers was also a large part of her life, and she spent many hours making her gardens beautiful with color.
She joins daughter Dr. Joan Kuglitsch, son Dr. Michael Kuglitsch, grandson Samuel Kuglitsch, and nine brothers and sisters in Eternal Life. She is survived by her husband Dr. Ervin Kuglitsch, sister Beatrice, daughters Dr. Mary Llanas (Ralph) and Susan Bonis, PhD (Michael), and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
